Meet Rob.

He is the President of Behold.

Rob concurrently presides over another video production company that works primarily in the nonprofit sector. Founded over a decade ago, that Emmy-winning studio has produced content in 15 countries, has over 20,000,000 online views, and completes hundreds of projects every year. Rob brings not only his vision and leadership experience to Behold but also the infrastructure and resources of a very successful production company. Though newly formed, Behold is based in a multi-building complex that comes with fully-equipped production studios; over a dozen editing workstations; a variety of conference rooms and production offices; 4 production vehicles; and 40+ cameras including an Arri Alexa Mini, 2 Arri Amiras, 4 RED Geminis, an Arriflex 16SR, and half a dozen C300 Mark IIs.

Meet Jason.

He is the Creative Director of Behold.

Before the launch of Behold, Jason spent a decade as a freelancer known for his expertise in story, direction, and creative leadership. In 2019, he joined Rob, longtime collaborator and friend, to help develop his new venture. Jason’s directing work has been called “poignant”, “compelling”, and “daring” by The Huffington Post; “heartbreaking” and “raw” by The Los Angeles Times; “groundbreaking” and “viral gold” by The Daily Beast; “poignant” by Buzzfeed; “brave” by Mashable; and “riveting” by Bustle. He’s had a 150+ film festival screenings and taken home a multitude of awards including Best Film, Best Feature, Audience Award, Jury Award, Best Short, and Best Screenplay. Other honors include Buzzfeed’s “24 of the Most Brilliant Music Videos of 2013”, The New York Times’s “Top 10 Films of the Year” (2016), and InStyle Magazine’s “The Pop Culture Moments That Made 2013”. His commercial work has been broadcast on E!, CNN, Fox, Lifetime, ESPN, and OWN, and he has over 20,000,000 online views. Jason holds an MFA in Independent Filmmaking. He’s taught courses at numerous colleges and universities, spoken at national conferences about entrepreneurship in the arts, and served on screening committees and juries of international film festivals.

Meet Gianna.

She is the Director of Photography of Behold.

After graduating from Columbia College in 2017, Gianna began working as a full-time freelancer on narrative, commercial, documentary, and music video projects. She first crossed paths with Jason while still a student, and four years and dozens of projects later, their creative collaborations culminated in her position at Behold. In addition to shooting many of the company’s projects, Gianna is a principal creative at Behold and actively contributes to the creative team in myriad ways. Her professional highlights include shooting commercial content for Nike, Canon, and Amtrak; a PBS-broadcast documentary series; a narrative feature with theatrical release; and a narrative short that is currently making its rounds on the festival circuit. Projects have taken her to Dubai, Canada, and dozens of cities across the United States.
